Description
In paper and board manufacturing, the drainability of pulp is progressively reduced as fiber length diminishes with each recycling cycle. Chemical retention and drainage aids have restricted effectiveness because they hinder production through fiber flocculation. A more effective approach uses bio-enzymes to selectively hydrolyze fine fibers. This process increases the long-fiber content, resulting in improved pulp drainability.
Mechanism of action
Drainage Enzyme L-Series is a composite enzymatic preparation designed to enhance pulp drainage performance on the wire section, increase operating speed, and reduce steam energy consumption in drying cylinders. This product contains specific surfactants and stabilizers, which selectively hydrolyze fine fibers to improve pulp drainability. By reducing the moisture content of the wet web, it significantly decreases steam consumption during the drying process.
Product Benefits:
Suitable for production lines using ONP, OCC, and other recycled fibers to manufacture corrugated medium, linerboard, white board, etc.
Enhances drainage performance on the wire section, increasing machine speed by 5-20 m/min while reducing wet web moisture content.
Lowers steam consumption in drying cylinders by 2-5%.
Long-term application improves paper formation uniformity.
